Leaving itch.io for a while - First things first?

Hi, journalists,

Christine Lim here from Udon Addict.

It’s been a while since I last posted my Kocho engine news on Reddit, Facebook, YouTube, and DeviantArt. Due to extreme levels of anxiety and demanding rules about programming a game, I decided to stall my activity on itch.io while completing some chapters on Wattpad, one of the most popular websites where people publish their stories, particularly fanfiction. I’ll also try posting more of my stories on DeviantArt. The reason why I chose to do it is because back at my disability school for adults, my school psychologist suggested that I should either make a graphic novel or just a traditional novel. Another thing, she’s getting older and has a family to take care of. Since I remembered that, I will always do whatever it takes to be smart, independent, and act like a man, not a kid. Despite the writer’s block I encountered, I’m still working on the scripts for my own novel called Sincerely Yours. But for some reason, I had to change the title into As of 3-15 (March 15) because…yeah, Sincerely Yours sounds good, but I feel like the title itself can be all over the place, and even the first working title, When I Think Upon Heaven, doesn’t feel fitting either. Regarding the change of title, I’m sorry if this may have lost you or disillusioned you. What do you think?

In conclusion, similar to my Kocho engine news, my deepest apologies if this happens to your dream of becoming a game programmer, and I understand your grief. But look at the bright side; there are lots of great games to check out on itch.io rather than checking out games that are in development. And remember, never try to give up your dream as a game programmer and just keep it alive.

Best of luck,

Christine Lim from Udon Addict.
